Since 1974, Del Mar Hills Academy has served students from kindergarten through sixth grade.

In kindergarten through third grade, each class has a maximum of 22 students. In grades four through six, the maximum number of students is 27.

On Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays the school day is from 8:00 am to 2:30 pm. On Wednesdays, students are dismissed at 12:30 pm.

The best in California! We have a committed and experienced teaching staff. In fact, most of our teachers love Del Mar Hills so much their children are students here. Many of our teachers have taught at Del Mar Hills for over 10 years.

We love parent volunteers! Parent volunteers are welcome any time, for an hour or even a whole day. We have many opportunities for parents to volunteer in classrooms or with the PTA. Parent involvement and support is critical to the continued excellence of Del Mar Hills Academy.

What is STEAM+?
Our STEAM+ curriculum integrates Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics, and Physical Wellness into Del Mar Hills students’ education. Credentialed teachers with many years of classroom and specific subject-area experience teach each of these standards-based classes.
