Hello, Surfriders! My name is Kate Daniel and I am thrilled to be joining your wonderful school community as your new Assistant Principal! I have been an educator in DMUSD since 2008, most recently supporting Carmel Del Mar as an Assistant Principal and just before that, serving as the Innovation Technologist at Ocean Air School. I live in San Marcos with my family and enjoy music, theater, the beach, and travel. My favorite spot in Del Mar is Dog Beach, and you can sometimes find me there with my 5th grader and my adorable Goldendoodle, Ruby. I can't wait to meet all of the wonderful people who make Del Mar Hills Academy such a special place to be!
