School Site Council
The Del Mar Hills Academy School Site Council shall be composed of 10 members, selected by their peers as follows: 3 classroom teachers, 1 other staff member, five parents or community members and the school principal shall be an ex officio memner of SSC. The certificated staff (teachers) must elect the certificated members; classified staff elects the classified member, and the parents/community must elect the parent/community representatives. The purpose of School Site Council is to:
- Develop and monitor the Single Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA/Strategic Plan) and the ongoing improvement process.
- Provide input to the school as to how the funding allocated for school improvement used to support the goals outlined in the SPSA
Our School Site Council will meet four times during the school year to look at our School Plan, review our program goals, and make recommendations about the SIP budget. All parents are welcome to attend.
