School Site Council

The Del Mar Hills Academy School Site Council is made up of eight "voting" members: four staff members and four parents. The certificated staff (teachers) must elect the three certificated members; classified staff elects the classified member, and the parents must elect the parent representatives. The purpose of School Site Council is to:

  • Develop and monitor the Single Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA/Strategic Plan) and the ongoing improvement process.
  • Provide input to the school as to how the funding allocated for school improvement used to support the goals outlined in the SPSA

Our School Site Council will meet four times during the school year to look at our School Plan, review our program goals, and make recommendations about the SIP budget. All parents are welcome to attend.
